The Springfield High School Indoor Percussion Ensemble exists to allow its members to further enhance their music education in percussion, technical musicianship, creative interpretation, and responsibility. Participation at Indoor Percussion contests will enhance each members understanding of the activity and will help guide the growth of this ensemble. Through dedication, hard work, and loyalty each member and the ensemble as a whole will strive for high standards of excellence and further understanding the activity.
The Indoor Percussion Ensemble participates in 2-3 weekly rehearsals during the indoor season, as well as attend mini-camps. The group also participates in competitive and non-competitive performances through-out the winter and spring, including competitions, Friends & Family Night, and all marching band performances. Additional group activities include fundraising efforts and the Annual Indoor Guard Spaghetti Dinner/Silent Auction
